Colonel Denning State Park campground re-opened
The campground in Pennsylvania’s Colonel Denning State Park, north of Newville, has re-opened.
It was closed for nearly a month to repair damages caused by heavy rains and flooding on May 28.
According to Park Manager Ryan Donovan, campsites are available for the upcoming, July 4 weekend.
Reservations can be made by calling 1-888-PA-PARKS or through the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources website.
