Winnebago Chairman Optomistic Despite 4Q Loss
Winnebago Industries' top executive wants people to look above the bottom line when it comes to the quarterly and year-end financial report it released on Thursday morning.
“I'm optimistic. I'm cautiously optimistic,” Winnebago Chairman of the Board, CEO and President Bob Olson said, “that we are finally seeing signs of a turnaround.”
The bottom line, though, wasn't pretty for the Forest City-based motor-home manufacturer. The company reported a net loss of $50.2 million in the fourth quarter that ended on Aug. 29 and a net loss of $78.8 million for the year.
