ReserveAmerica Will Operate the National Recreation Reservation Service

BALLSTON SPA, N.Y., Nov. 9 -- ReserveAmerica, the United States' leading outdoor recreation reservation and campground management solutions provider, today announced it has signed an agreement ending the ongoing protest of its Department of Agriculture contract award, and is beginning implementation of the consolidated National Recreation Reservation Service (NRRS(TM)) contract. Under the terms of the contract, ReserveAmerica will provide comprehensive recreation information and reservation services for all U.S. federal recreation agencies, including the National Park Service, the USDA Forest Service, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Bureau of Land Management and Bureau of Reclamation.

ReserveAmerica's single interagency service will integrate two separate recreation-related reservation systems: the National Park Reservation Service (NPRS); and the National Recreation Reservation Service (NRRS), to enable the general public to reserve a variety of recreation sites and activities on Federal lands.

ReserveAmerica will provide one-stop shopping to the public for a wide range of federal recreation areas, facilities and opportunities including access to more than 57,000 campsites, cabins, parks, and tours of national sites, historic homes and caves.

"We are proud to continue in our commitment to providing the Federal agencies and the American public with reservation and ticketing services that continue to exceed expectations," said Brendan Ross, President of ReserveAmerica. "With the proven success of ORMS(TM), ReserveAmerica's state-of-the-art recreation reservation platform, and as we manage record numbers of online reservations for the NRRS, ReserveAmerica looks forward to the next ten years of leading the industry with technology innovations and successful partnerships with the NRRS participating federal agencies."
